The ASCO Series 068 Flapper Valve with Pad Mounting Body is designed for use in analytical and medical systems, and is suitable for use with neutral or aggressive liquids and gases. Like the 067 series, these valves also feature a hermetic separation of the control mechanism and fluid, which prevents particulate contamination and ensures reliable operation in applications with highly aggressive fluids.
The 068 series flapper valve also features reduced heat transfer between the control mechanism and fluid, as well as good self-draining capability and an easy-to-flush internal cavity. The low internal volume of these valves helps to minimize heat exchange, while the specific flapper mechanism helps to eliminate the pump effect and stick effect.
In addition, the 068 series has the possibility to adapt a power-save connector, and offers electrical spade-plug or cable-end connection options for added versatility and ease of integration into different systems.
