ASCO Series 307 Direct Operated Full Flow Cast Iron Or Steel Enclosure

Normally Open (NO)

A Normally Opened (NO) version of the Series 307 Pilot Operated solenoid valves refers to a type of valve that is in an open state in the absence of an electrical signal to the solenoid. In other words, when the solenoid is not energized, the valve allows fluid to flow freely through it. When an electrical signal is applied to the solenoid, it causes the valve to close and restrict the flow of fluid.

The Normally Opened version of the Series 307 Pilot Operated solenoid valves is typically used in applications where fluid flow needs to be shut off when an electrical signal is applied to the solenoid. For example, in a pneumatic system, a Normally Opened valve might be used to control the flow of compressed air to a cylinder, opening to allow air to flow when the solenoid is energized and closing to stop the flow when the solenoid is de-energized.

In summary, the Normally Open (NO) version of the Series 307 Pilot Operated solenoid valves is a type of valve that allows fluid to flow freely in the absence of an electrical signal, and restricts flow when an electrical signal is applied to the solenoid.
